Calx — Effective June 11, 2026

1. The service

Calx estimates the nutritional content of food from photos, barcodes, labels, and text using artificial intelligence and public nutrition databases.

2. Not medical advice

Calx provides estimates for informational purposes only. Calorie and nutrient values can be inaccurate. The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or health advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your diet or health, especially if you have a medical condition or an eating disorder.

3. Subscriptions

• Pro subscriptions are billed through Google Play (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically until cancelled in the Play Store.
• Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy.
• Free and Pro plans include daily fair-use limits on AI features to prevent abuse.

4. Acceptable use

You may not abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service, share accounts to bypass plan limits, or submit unlawful content.

5. Your content

You retain rights to the photos you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process them in order to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
